It was almost midday when we reached the resort in Oslob, Cebu. One of the residents told us that their municipality is very quiet before, until some of the whale sharks have visited their sea and it’s been already two years that those whale sharks were staying there. The residents are happy because of the income they get from local and foreign tourists who are coming every day. We immediately followed the guide for whale shark watching briefing. They discussed the rules and the things we should avoid while swimming with the whale sharks.
Then, we ride in a boat and not so far away from the shore, we noticed the amazing giant creatures swimming in the salty water in Oslob, Cebu. I tried to swim with them for few minutes and I saw some of the whale sharks. I was quite nervous when I saw one of them for the first time because of its intimidating large mouth. Whale shark is the largest fish and eats plankton and small fish. I realize how beautiful whale shark is, from mouth to its fins; its large gills and its random stripes and dots markings are just perfect. It was just one of the greatest experiences in my entire life.
